    Responsibilities

    POSITION SUMMARY: 

    The role of the physician sourcer will be to mine various medias for physician candidates. These candidates can be actively interested in making an employment change or passively open to opportunities in learning more about EVPS and warmly pass them to a physician recruiter. This role must be able to move at a very fast pace, have a high ability to organize and prioritize based on a rapidly changing environment. 

     

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

     

    • Avg. daily calls of 40+ per day or no less than “2 hours talk time”, qualified referrals and hire per month are key metrics. Introduce EVPS to potential candidates via phone, email, or other media in a professional manner, gain interest and warmly pass these candidates to physician recruiters
    • Prioritize sourcing efforts based on the direction of the recruitment manager
    • Sources continuously for all assigned contracts
    • Source passive and active candidates from job boards, our internal applicant tracking system (ATS), the internet, social media, target companies, cold calling, networking groups, or any other combination of marketing mediums as established by integrated marketing campaigns.
    • Enter all new candidate demographics, CV history and education information into EmWorks (ATS), being mindful not to duplicate leads
    • Enter all notes and activities with candidate in EmWorks (ATS)
    • Provide manager with a weekly sourcing plan outlining priorities and initiatives.
    • Provide sourced candidate spreadsheet to recruiters and manager, on a weekly basis and whenever possible, in conjunction with the marketing specialist weekly sourcing report
    • Professionally present candidates to recruiters which includes summary, CV and intake form
    • Adhere to all company policies and procedures

    Qualifications

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Bachelor degree or equivalent years of experience preferred
    • Strong communication and organizational skills
    • Experience with online sourcing niche sites including job boards, job posting and social-media and applicant tracking systems
    • Excellent customer service
    • Ability to multi task

      Experience:

    • Internship in office support role or human resources preferred
    • Previous experience sourcing both active and passive candidates preferred

       

    Knowledge and Skills:

     

    • Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills; strong organizational skills; ability to take on multiple tasks and function under stressful situations and deadlines; be a team player
    • The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, self-motivated and possess careful analytical skills
    • Candidate must have ability to work in rapidly changing healthcare environment
    • Demonstrates ability to work in conjunction with marketing and recruiters in a comprehensive team approach
    • Versatile computer skill required, proficient in Microsoft Windows Programs, i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Database Management, and Lotus Notes
    • Demonstrates ability to work independently with minimal daily direction
