    We currently have an exciting opportunity available for an experienced Event and Conference Planner.


    • Plans events thoroughly and manages the process of early event registration to maximize event budget
    • Events registration, planning, budgeting and event billing
    • Follows up and confirms all event transactions
    • Reviews all marketing opportunities with marketing and department managers
    • Manages and maintains vendor relations
    • Performs all conference and event related travel arrangements (hotel, air, car) for TIVA, Sheridan and Corporate Development
    • Orders all booth furnishings including, electrical, badges, furniture, etc.
    • Ensures company’s exposure is maximized in the show’s company directory
    • Organizes pre and post events meetings and prepares summarized report
    • Ensures each traveler has requested their needed show and reservation materials
    • Prepares all materials and folders for review and approval by marketing manager and department director
    • Ensures travelers are equipped with the most updated and current information and materials
    • Maintains a log and reviews events materials inventory before and after every show
    • Meets with marketing manager regularly, as needed, for status updates and makes recommendations for improvements
    • Participates in internal meetings with management as needed
    • Organizes pre and post event meetings and prepares summarized report
    • Ensures all events expenses are received in timely manner and documented accurately
    • Works with Marketing Coordinator to ensure all events expenses are logged accurately
    • Reorders all necessary events materials as needed in a timely manner
    • Notifies manager of conflicts in schedules in timely manner to ensure there is sufficient time to resolve before project’s assigned deadlines
    • Other duties as assigned
    • Reads and abides by the company’s code of conduct, ethics statements, employee handbook(s), policies and procedures and other corporate mandates, including participation in mandatory training programs
    • Reports any real or suspected violation of the corporate compliance program, company policies and procedures, harassment or other prohibited activities in accordance with the reporting policies of the company
    • Obtains clarification of policy whenever necessary and may use the resources available through the Compliance, Human Resources or Legal Department to do so

    • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and 2 or more years of related experience
    • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university preferred

     Computer Skills:

    To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of:

    • Microsoft Office Suite
    • Proficient in internet and computers usage
    • Accurate key boarding skills
