    We currently have an exciting opportunity available for an experienced Radiology Liaison I in Bedford, New York. The Radiology Liaison I promotes favorable company relationships with staff and clients, through prompt, accurate, and courteous resolution of telephone and written inquiries. To act as a point of contact for our contracted facilities, support employed providers, and other client based requests. This is an on-site, full-time position.

    Responsibilities

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Provide extensive support to each of our client facilities by assisting with following
      • Cases transmitted incorrectly or cases hung up in transmission
      • User error, such as cases being sent with incorrect patient demographics
      • Username and password registration/password reset
      • Timely readings of radiological studies
      • Notify client if there is a delay in obtaining resolution to the problem
    • Handles all inbound calls, email and chat
    • Assess the severity and priority of problems and requests according to issue management guidelines
    • Assist with any consultations requested between clients and employed radiologists
    • Communicate with facilities to correct any studies that transmit incorrectly
    • Communicate any discrepancies to facilities accordingly, as well as all critical results and addendums
    • Communicate any addendums to providers accordingly
    • Responsible for monitoring all incoming studies to Connect and to ensure all studies come across the system properly
    • Logs tickets of all phone calls made to and from client hospitals, physicians, techs, IT, etc
    • Assures good communication between physicians, facilities, and corporate staff
    • Resolve or escalate problems and requests according to issue management guidelines
    • Take notes of recurring questions or problems that may be resolved by change in policy or procedure; communicate complaint patterns to management team
    • Maintain patient confidentiality according to HIPAA guidelines

    Leadership Requests

    • Assist and complete requests from Director of Radiology Operations.
    • Assist and complete requests from Practice Managers of Radiology Operations.
    • Assist and complete requests from Management Team of Radiology Operations.

    Other

    • Assist Radiology Operations Director and management team as requested in gathering data from various sources.
    • Perform other duties as may be assigned by physicians, director, and Envision.
    • Reads and abides by the company’s code of conduct, ethics statements, employee handbook(s), policies and procedures and other corporate mandates, including participation in mandatory training programs
    • Reports any real or suspected violation of the corporate compliance program, company policies and procedures, harassment or other prohibited activities in accordance with the reporting policies of the company
    • Obtains clarification of policy whenever necessary and may use the resources available through the Compliance, Human Resources or Legal Department to do so

    Education/Experience:

    • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and 3 month or more of related experience
