    St. Vincent Home Health is seeking a detailed, energetic

    Administrative Assistant for a Full Time opportunity in Indianapolis!


    This position will be based out of 8450 N. Payne Rd, Indianapolis 46268


    HOURS: 10:30A.M.-7:30P.M. Monday-Friday 


    Our ideal candidate will have data-entry experience within a healthcare setting, be comfortable working with various computer software, and have an interest in cross-training with the Intake Department!

    SUMMARY:  Primary responsibility is to facilitate the communication functions of the business office and provide clerical support.



    • Provides clerical support which may include preparation of admission, orientation, and new hire packets; monitoring and ordering office supplies and forms, typing, special projects, filing, and copying
    • Facilitates the communication systems which may include: mail distribution, pagers, phone system, memos, answers incoming calls, documents and disseminates appropriate messages
    • Assists with maintenance of personnel files
    • Provides computer support and data entry
    • Provides effective communication to patient/family, team members, and other health care professionals and maintains confidentiality
    • Adhere to all company policies and procedures
    • Adherence to and compliance with information systems security is everyone’s responsibility. It is the responsibility of every computer user to: Know and follow Information Systems security policies and procedures. Attend Information Systems security training, when offered. Report information systems security problems.






    • High School Graduate or GED



    • One year general office support experience


    Knowledge and Skills:

    • Good interpersonal and organizational skills required.
    • Excellent computer skills to include Microsoft Office and Outlook.
    • Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
