    Position Summary: 

    The Director of Client Solutions position is an exciting opportunity for individuals looking to apply their hospital management experience in an advisory services position.  This role works collaboratively with our physician and hospital leaders to define strategies for enhancing performance across our clinical services lines of Emergency Medicine, Hospitalist Medicine, Anesthesia and Radiology.  You’ll be utilizing your analytic and project management skills to assist with projects that promote patient throughput and identify improvement opportunities in the areas of quality, operations, and patient satisfaction.  You will also creatively apply your skills and experience to develop and implement solutions, lead ad-hoc projects, analyzing performance metrics and providing practice support to our clinical provider groups at our client hospital facilities.

     

    Qualified candidates will have 3-5 years of managerial level responsibility in a hospital department environment.  Project experience within the emergency department, hospitalist medicine, quality, logistics or and patient flow is preferred.  We are looking for someone with outstanding interpersonal and communication skills and the ability and willingness to travel. The role will be based in the Parsippany, NJ office.

    Responsibilities

    • Facilitates and promotes communication and solid working relationships among client hospitals, physician employees, midlevel providers and physician Leadership Teams.
    • Evaluates facility needs and creates action plans to improve operational and clinical performance.
    • Pursues current innovative information and serves as a resource for national best practices and benchmarks.
    • Leads Patient Flow Redesign projects utilizing LEAN for Healthcare methodology.
    • Identifies and implements training needs to improve patient satisfaction and HCAHPS 
    • Assists with monitoring and improvement of Core Measures.
    • Assists with research, planning, and the implementation of new services and special projects.
    • Support regional business development strategies related to nurse leader networking and outreach.
    • Acts as a resource to the Nurse Manager and Medical Director providing input into operational, staffing and productivity issues.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree required.  Masters degree preferred (MSN, MBA, MHA)
    • 3+ years in a hospital department setting related to clinical oversight, management, or continuous quality improvement.
    • Demonstrated ability to lead a professional team in planning and execution of strategic objectives.
    • Ability to produce positive results for the organization.  Demonstrated ability to use Microsoft Office products.
    • Effective oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
