    POSITION SUMMARY:

     

    The Director, ERP is responsible for developing and implementing the enterprise-wide ERP strategy while partnering with internal and external stakeholders to ensure stable, secure solutions align with Company architecture standards and practices. This position is HR Functions specific.

    Responsibilities

    ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Develops and oversees the implementation of long- and short-term strategic plan for ERP Applications that aligns with our strategic priorities, business needs and resource planning
    • Provide vision and strategy for all ERP Implementation activities including developing processes and policies, identifying relevant supporting tools and technologies, implementing program governance, and leading the underlying technology platform development needed to enable innovation
    • Provide leadership, coaching and direction to the application development team and IT staff, including employee development, training, and review processes
    • Establish and maintain productive relationships with our functional leaders to ensure alignment of IT efforts with business needs
    • Ensure IT function delivers consistent and cost-effective ERP programs, upgrades and management services
    • Forecast future skills needed to acquire and develop an IT workforce with the appropriate mix of business knowledge, technical skills, and competencies
    • Partner with IT PMO in establishing service levels objectives and continuous improvement initiatives across application and reporting services
    • Research, present and implement technological alternatives to reduce cycle time, streamline operations, and improve productivity
    • Manage developers to ensure that specifications are met and adhere to the business policies and practices that the company has endorsed
    • Build and maintain vendor relationships and manage the purchase of hardware and software
    • Special projects and performs other job-related duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

     

    To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential responsibility satisfactorily.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and/or abilities required.

     

    Computer Equipment and Software Requirements:

    Direct or indirect knowledge of enterprise application systems including but not limited to time keeping (Kronos), ERP platforms (Oracle), ATS platforms, ITSM platforms, and messaging platforms (O365). PC; Windows based spreadsheet/word processing package and Power Point.   Competency with enterprise Project Management software experience such as MS Project.  Service Now experience is a plus.

     

    Education/Experience:

    BA in Computer Science, Business Administration or a related field. A master’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field is preferred.

    Experience: 

    Minimum of seven (7) years of progressive experience in managing leaders and departments dealing with information technology handling, workflow and systems. Five or more years of ERP platforms with specific experience with Oracle.

     

    Mathematical Skills:

    Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, decimals and percentages.

    Language Skills:

    Ability to demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills through the ability to understand, read, write and speak English at a level appropriate for executive business interactions.  Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations.  Ability to successfully write business correspondence.  Ability to effectively present information, respond to questions and professionally interact with managers, employees, clients, vendors and the general public.

    Reasoning Ability:

    Ability to recognize and define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions and correct errors.  Ability to understand and interpret basic financial data.  Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in a variety of forms and deal with abstract and concrete variables. 

    Other Qualifications:

    Must be able to handle multiple, simultaneous tasks effectively and efficiently while maintaining a professional, courteous manner.  Must be able to work well with others.  Strong verbal and written communication skills required.  Must be detail oriented and organized.  High integrity, including maintenance of confidential information.  Must be able to exercise good judgment and positively influence and lead others, including handling confrontations with poise and efficiency.  Demonstrated leadership of both direct and indirect resources.  Demonstrated program and project management experience. Ability to think strategically and successfully solve business and organizational problems.     Based on business need, the ability to work a flexible schedule, including some evenings and weekends as approved in advance.
