    We currently have an exciting opportunity available for an experienced an Analyst III, Quality Business Analytics.

    Responsibilities

    The Analyst III, Quality Business Analytics is responsible for producing action oriented data presentations and tools focused on improving quality performance based on sound business knowledge and insights.  The Analyst is expected to be an expert in healthcare quality measures and metrics, government quality measures, and business operational metrics.

    • Accountable for producing key quality analytical work products on a scheduled and unscheduled basis.
    • Responsible for quality checking visualizations and dashboards as they move through the development life cycle and within the production environment.
    • Designing and Development of optimized and efficient database objects using technologies, including but not limited to MS SQL.
    • Perform detailed analysis of source systems and source system data and model that data
    • Design, develop, and test scripts to import data from source systems and dashboards to meet business requirements.
    • Interpret written business requirements and technical specification documents.
    • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with strong commercial awareness and well-developed communication skills
    • Ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts
    • Ability to work to tight time scales, can-do attitude & self-motivated.
    • Collaborates with business leaders and quality team members’ to improve quality reporting processes and deliverables.
    • Become an expert in quality measures and metrics and anticipates reporting requirements, uncovers areas for improvement, and develops and implements solutions. 
    • Use a combined knowledge of data science and applications, modeling, statistics, analytics and math to solve problems, sift and analyze data from multiple angles, looking for trends that highlight problems or opportunities.
    • Document quality reporting and analytical processes to ensure consistency and repeatability.
    • Identify and research anomalies and outliers in the data. Identify problematic areas and make recommendations to determine the best course of action to correct the data used for reporting.
    • Participate in the design and development of reports that explore and present large amounts of data to discover underlying patterns and trends related to quality.
    • Plan and design data integration, integration strategies, develop intuitive dashboards.
    • Effectively communicate insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management.
    • Brings an operational and business intelligence mindset to the goals and tasks assigned.
    • Utilizes basic statistical quality control strategies to monitor and improve quality performance
    • Has an awareness of required quality metrics and creates comprehensive requirements for IT stakeholders on those data requirements as it relates to quality metrics reporting.
    • Identifies ways to improve the effectiveness of information visualization.
    • Creates automated anomaly detection systems and constant tracking of its performance.
    • Other Duties as needed.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree from four-year College or University and 5 or more years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Master’s Degree in Business Administration is preferred but not required.
    • 5+ years of experience with SQL and Relational Databases.
    • Experience with BI Tools like Tableau, Power BI
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
    • Ability to compile data from a variety of sources translate business needs into Visual Analytics.
    • Basic knowledge of statistics and quality control methodologies
    • Familiarity with business intelligence concepts such as information visualization, gathering and understanding business requirements.
    • Experience in developing reports, graphs, and dataflow in Microsoft Excel, Tableau or other modern business intelligence and statistical tools.
    • Strong proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite
