We currently have an exciting opportunity available for an experienced VP of Advanced Practice Providers !


The VP National Anesthesia Advanced Practice Providers  is responsible for setting the national strategy, goals, objectives, policy and common practices for all Anesthesia Allied Health providers. Establish national recruiting and outreach programs to attract, develop and retain the best Allied Health providers.

• Drive company objectives, strategies and goals through the service line
• Drive corporate communications and activities throughout the Allied Health programs, ensuring alignment to the Company’s strategies
• Work with Clinical Leadership to review and update Allied Heath corporate policies, procedures, guidelines and protocols for a consistent approach Nationally
• Conduct Monthly Regional Advanced Practice Provider Director (RAPD) meetings

• Work with Regional Advanced Practice Provider Directors, assess, train and develop staff
• Assess programs experiencing issues raised by physician leadership, allied health leadership and staff
• Conduct Quarterly National Advanced Practice Provider leadership meetings – live or virtually
• Work with HR and Talent Development to enhance and evolve leadership training programs for both existing and future Advanced Practice Provider leaders
• Work with start-ups as they relate to Advanced Practice Providers to ensure a successful and sustained program
• Work with business development presenting to Advanced Practice Providers of organic growth and potential acquired programs
• Troubleshoot Allied Health issues in existing practices to ensure sustained success. Issues include but not limited to compensation, communication, candidate selection, leadership decisions and selection
• Establish and implement SRNA development program to ensure students receive solid, practical training and create a pipeline of future hires
• Develop and maintain student clinical rotations within existing practices; expanding programs as needed
• Oversee budget process and provide direction and input around FTE needs, labor costs and program needs; work with Regional Advanced Practice Providers and Clinical Leaders to ensure costs align with program budgets
• Other duties as assigned


To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential responsibility satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and/or abilities required.
• Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
• Experience working both independently and, in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
• Demonstrated ability in leadership qualities including the ability to effectively manage others
• Strong interpersonal, project management and mentoring skills. Ability to make decisions in a rapidly growing, professional, service-oriented environment.
• Bachelor's Degree from four-year college or university and 12 or more years of managerial experience and 5 or more years practicing as an Anesthesia Advanced Practice Provider; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Successful completion of an accredited School of Nurse Anesthesia or Anesthesiologist Assistant Program.
• Active licensure with current ACLS, BLS certification.
• Desired – Master’s degree preparation or higher level of education
• Certification as a Registered Nurse Anesthetist by the AANA/NBCRNA or an Anesthesiologist Assistant by the AAAA
